The Torcafe is located in the city center of Neubrandenburg in a part of the historic city wall at Friedländer Tor. You can enjoy delicious food and drinks inside or in the beer garden. The selection of drinks and food is large. The ambience right on the Ring is unique, it is a quaint and cozy place. The coffee is highly recommended. So a tip for your next stay in Neubrandenburg.

If you could give 0 stars, I would do it! Absolutely children unfriendly shop. I'm there with my almost 3-year-old daughter purely to ask if she could fill up our 0,5l bottle with tap water. After a soliloquy what else could be done, I was told that she also sells still water! When I kindly pointed out that it was for my thirsty daughter, I was told rather rude and rude that they do not spend tap water, because it is indeed a restaurant and they want to earn money! In my eyes, this is an absolute impudence! That they do not spend tap water there is all well and good, but you can communicate that at least in a reasonable tone! There we will definitely not go back!

Inexperienced staff. Slowly and although the place was not very busy, it was seemingly completely overstrained. On request, whether the cake or the cream in the cake with gelatin, could not be given qualified information. It was then claimed to be none, but I could not be told what was used as a binder instead. An ingredient list was also not presented. Or it was just laziness. The wineglass was dusty, with fingerprints and small hairs. The slightly fluffily touted Brandtteig from the map was hard, inedible and probably 5 days old. Also, the coffee cups were already empty when the food was served. The staff was very inattentive. Disappointing. A comforting star, as the two served at the table stones alias fluffy puffs were canceled from the bill. The saying it would be freshly prepared every day is simply wrong. Grottiges restaurant. Owner also responds with cheeky comments on 1-star reviews to denounce already angry customers in addition to. Impudence.

They're nice and kind to their customers. Maybe the staff should smile a bit more :)

Tasty food also with a beer garden. The inexpensive daily offer is always very tasty. The café is in a historic place. In one of the four gates for which the city of Neubrandenburg is known. It is a quaint and cozy place. So a tip for the next stay in Neubrandenburg.

Not for foreigners! Am always surprised when one in the 21st Century is met with racists. Was there yesterday with a friend who also in not German. We were basically ignored when we came in - so we took a menu ourselves and sat outside. No one came to take our order and when we went in we were told the kitchen is only open until 2pm. It wasn't even 2pm yet. Am so grateful not to be a small minded racist living in this sad village.

Great tasty food at good prices. Drinks selection is great and the ambience directly in Friedländer Tor to dine is unique. Manuela is also very pleasant and takes care of your guests. Update December '16: The duck with red cabbage and dumplings are a culinary delight and highly recommended. Duck is available only on pre-order and from 4 persons.
